DIGIPAK ANALYSIS

I really like the whole layout of this XX digipak. Firstly I like how simple it is and how the X is a continuous theme the whole way through the album because the band are called The XX. I like how they have kept to black and white for the whole digipak and have used quite minimal writing as although it is really simple and there isn't much to is it still looks very affective and interesting. One of my favourite things about the digipak is how the they have also taken the X and have done a cut out which looks very affective with the full black throughout. They never stop the theme of the X the whole way through the digipak, it is on the album and even on the discs, weather it has a black background and a white X or a white background and a black X it still looks very affective. I also like how the writing is on the black background which makes it stand out. I want to apply these things to my digipak as even though it is really simple it can still be really good, and I want mine to be just as affective.
