It is a very simple album cover with only the artist name, the album name and an artist associated symbol. The symbol of the album is see on the artists body in one of the music videos for this

album and on another iteration of the cover of this album. The name of the album is ‘Going to hell’ and the first song is ‘Follow me down’. The symbol is an arrow pointing downwards and crossed with a crucifix type symbol. This is a connotation of going down to hell or pointing to hell. This fits with the conventions of rock/metal music which has in the past been called ‘the devils music’ as it has often had a religious/anti-religious message.

A very striking album cover with lots of gold. The artists name at the top in a huge font so you know who the artist is straight away.

The album name at the bottom says ‘respect me’ yet from what the artist is wearing you wouldn't expect to. The connotations of gold, tattoos, big sunglasses and lots of jewellery generally connotes to a dangerous gangster or someone to be avoided. Yet they are are conventions of rappers.

A symbol showing what type of content to expect in the album.

These three albums are all from the same artist. They are from the metal genre. This is noticeable due to the angular font for the artist name and the images of death. The main symbol of the band is the skeleton called Eddie. He appears on many of their album covers and is a strong connotation of metal music.
