personality• The cameras have changed as now, they have better

quality and the pictures can have work done to them.• One of the famous portrait photographer is called, Diane

Documentary• Documentary photography usually refers to a popular form

of photography used to chronicle significant and historical events.

• It’s used to record chronicle, significant and historical events

• It’s changed over time as now technology has developed and become more advanced.

• A famous Documentary photographer, is Erica McDonald.

Fine Art• Fine art is, a creative art. Products are to be appreciated

primarily and is a visual art.• It is used for adverts and mostly in magazines.• In the 20th Century photos were mostly black, white and

sepia. Most were of old fashioned things. Now it’s in colour and edited by technology.

• A famous fine art photographer is called, Arthur Leipzig

Fashion• It’s genre of photography displaying clothing and other

fashion interns.• It’s use to display clothing and other fashion items, to

promote and advertise.• Technology evolved as the photography evolved (types of

shots)• A famous fashion photographer is called, Sébastien Kim.

Photo Journalism• The art of using a photograph, is to tell a news story.• Photo Journalism has been a mainstay in newspapers

because, of how it can get across a message quickly to the reader.

• The golden age of photo journalism in the 1930s- 1950s, was where the art had really taken off, getting many of the standards that art is still measured by.

• A couple of famous Photo Journalism photographers are, David Burnett and Robert Capa.

Advertising

• Photography is the single most important element of most advertising campaigns.

• Its used to persuade the audience to buy their products.• At the beginning of the 20th century articles devoted to

advertising.• A famous advertising photographer is called, Ian Jackson.

• Photos of long lasting environment which is un touch by man.

• Used to advertise different places and can be used as art.• It wasn’t changed apart from the increase of technology.• A Photographer associated with this is, Adam Burton.
