to 8,000 lbs/ ft (116,668 N/M ) lifting fo rce . Ma x-Rols ha

Dual Station Die Change Turntab le
Atlas dual station d ie chang e turntab les are idea l for low c ost, light
we ight ap plica tions. The a bility to pre-stag e the inco ming d ie on the
po rtion o f the turntable po sitioned to the outside o f the p ress while the
press is in p rod uc tion, a llow s for the fastest c hangeo ver p ermissible
within a m anual die cha nge o pe ration.
When d ie excha nge is sc heduled a nd unc lamp ing o f the outbound
d ie ha s transpired , the ope rato r will ac tivate the a ir op erated d ie lifters,ra ising the subp late m ounted d ie into p osition for rem ova l. The
op erator will then push the exiting d ie o nto the em pty station o f the d ie
turntable a nd lock the safe ty latc h to ho ld d ie in po sition d uring
rotation.
The op erator will rota te the die turntab le 180 degrees, bringing the ne w
subp late m ounted die into po sition a t the press, rem ove the safe ty
latch and roll the ne w d ie into the press.
The outb ound d ie m ay be remo ved by c rane or rem ain on the die
c hange turntab le as de sired . As an a dd ed fea ture, the d ie c hang e
turntable m ay a lso b e loc ked into p osition at 90 deg rees to free up
spac e fo r ac cess to the p ress.
