Self-evaluating…
Q 1:Was your role clear to you? Did you have clear instructions?
Self-evaluating…A 1:Yes, I believe it was pretty clear to me, and that was due to the fact that I had really clear instructions. From the first moment I read the task, I knew exactly what I had to do.
Self-evaluating…Q2:Your role implied being able to coordinate other people’s activities, not do them yourself. Did this happen? Was it easy? Was it difficult? If easy, say why. If difficult, pls state the difficulties you encountered.
Self-evaluating…A2 No, that didn´t happen. I didn´t have to do anything
concerning production... As a matter of fact, the guys were quite collaborative: as soon
as I asked for their productions, they sent them to me and they even made some suggestions for me to take into consideration.
What was a bit tough was enter the whole PP world because I had never used the program before. But it didn´t take me more than half an hour to learn how to use it. Then, it turned out to be something very useful and practical.
What was really difficult was to find the time to do it because they were like 14 or 15 different presentations…
In conclusion, it was a nice and interesting job… And I also learnt how to create PP presentations!!!
Self-evaluating…
Q3What do you think are the traits a good coordinator must have?
Self-evaluating…Traits a good coordinator should have are: Good-mannered Balanced Self-confidentAssertiveOrganizedPreciseEffective
Self-evaluating…
Q4Do you have them? Do you see or have you ever seen yourself as a good coordinator?
If yes, say why. If not, say why.
Self-evaluating…A4I believe that I have the first ones: nice manners, self-
confidence and assertiveness but I actually lack the most important one: being organized. This is definitely due to my lack of time. If I had enough time, I would organize myself better.
Wow!!! Having to fulfill this role really took me by surprise. I didn´t see it coming!!! This was the first time I had to take the role of the coordinator and, to be honest, I found out that it is something I´d like to do more often if I had enough time. As you see, time is the thing with me. I had never imagined myself as a coordinator, but I consider that, with enough practice and time, it would be a role that could suit me just fine.
Self-evaluating…Q5How do you think teachers should choose a coordinator for a collaborative work?
Self-evaluating…A 5: Forgive me if I´m too honest with you, but I don´t
believe you have chosen the right guy to coordinate this time hahaha. I believe that you should consider to choose someone else who has enough time to take this responsibility because, if it wasn´t for a couple of the guys who explained me how to use PP, you would still be waiting for me to send you the final version haha. These presentations demand a lot of time to me. I don´t consider them less important than any of the other subjects, but the fact was that doing this delayed my work with a couple of other subjects. Again, this is because of my lack of time. I really enjoyed the activity, don´t get me wrong, but it took me like 9 hours: 4 hours and a half per weekend.
Self-evaluating…Closing remark…Ok, send these answers as soon as time
allows yourself and remember…. There are NOT right answers, it is just your feelings and experience. If comments are negative, do not worry, they will be useful for self-evaluating ourselves on our job. Honesty is very important to me.
Self-evaluating…Answer:Well, I hope you like this. I think it´s
really cool to make a self-evaluation after every task because we students are always waiting for you teachers to give us the grade and that´s it. But no, we should self-evaluate ourselves too
