PUBLISHABLE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In this deliverable the pilot plans for the demonstration of the developments done during theproject evolution have been set up. Three pilot plans, one for each demonstrator, areincluded in the next steps of the project:

- COSMETIC application > The demonstrator is a jar (cap+jar) made by improvedbiodegradable material. It is going to be done by Injection moulding and the pilot linewill be placed on AITIIP facilities, despite the fact that the mould will be developed onTEHNOS facilities, Slovenia.

- FOOD application > This demonstrator is going to be a food tray for prepared food, and will include the film developed by INNOVIA films. Also several improvements, barrier properties, IML, antimicrobial treatment, etc. Will be tried on this pilot line, thatwill be manufactured by injection moulding and set up in TEHNOS site(manufacturing and pilot line)

- PHARMACEUTICAL application > The last demonstrator is a bottle for thepharmaceutical industry, designed for pills or syrup, and will be manufactured byAITIIP, which will also host the pilot line. This EBM bottle will be manufactured usingimproved PLA material, all together with RFID on IML system.

In this deliverable a first design of all demonstrators has been done, even for some of them amould has been drafted, taking into account all specifications of the end users andspecifications of the materials that are going to be used.

This deliverable will be updated when the pilot lines will be set up finally with all the finaldetails of each pilot line.
