Dear diary,

Tonight Im going to meet the European partners of the Comenius.

Im very excited and Ive got a lot of expectation s. I hope that this new experience will be full of new

Dear diary,

This morning we stayed at school for the official welcome and we met also important local authorities:

Angelo Tortorelli, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Franco Stella, president of the province ofMatera.

At lunch time we went to the restaurant Saperi e Sapori .

In the afternoon we visited the ancient site of Matera called Sassi. We had a great time because we took

part in a Maths Treasure Hunt.

Then we hung around the city with our partners.

It was an extraordinary day and I think that tomorrow will be as beautiful

Matera 18February 2014

Dear diary,

This morning we visited the Archaeological National Museum of Metaponto and in the afternoon we stayed

at school to rehearse the sketches about great Mathematicians. We had great fun and then I did theshopping with two Dutch girls hosted by Francesca (my Italian friend). Tomorrow we are going to

NAPELS!!!!!!!!! I can hardly waitkiss k iss

Dear diary,

Today I woke up at half past three a.m.!!! Im very tired but I can tell you that it was worth i t In the

morning we visited the City of Science and then we attended a theatrical performance of Frankenstein.

We ate also Neapolitan pizza in a famous pizzeria . In the afternoon we visited the city centre and the

Castle dellOvo. We took so many photos along the sea promenade.

Now Im at Francescas house and I have to go to bed bye

Matera 20 February 2014

Dear diary,

the second-last day of the visit of our European friends is finished today we did a lot of things!!!

In the morning we visited the Centre of Space Geodesy and it was very interesting. Af ter we ate at theusual restaurant and in the afternoon we had the performances of the sketches. In the end we had a Good-

bye buffet with parents.

It was a very exciting moment tomorrow we will be sad for their departure Bye

Our European friends left Italy but our hearts will always be bound. This experience was wonderful and
