Kuwait Petroleum Corporation has taken a number of progres-sive steps to in the field of social responsibility which is one of the important pivots allotted among its strategic directions. Such progress is appreciably approached through the ostensible success achieved in the 40th Kuwait International Book Fair in which KPC took part for the first time through a booth which witnessed a large number of visitors including top officials who were keen on being familiar with KPC and its subsidiaries through its publications that highlight the Kuwaiti oil industry.

In the same context, KPC was keen on patronizing the ac-tivities of the 51st annual conference of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) – the United Kingdom and Ireland branch and the 32nd annual conference of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) –USA Branch. This patronage is aimed to participate in supporting the Kuwaiti students abroad and improving their academic level; in addition to spotlighting the job vacancies which are available for youth in the oil sec-tor and how to these jobs are available through certain mecha-nism of recruitment approved by the higher administration; the matter helps achieve KPC sustainable development in hu-man resources to provide consequently a generation of leaders able to shoulder responsibility and achieve the corporation’s strategic goals.

In fact, such attitude which KPC adopts in the field of social re-sponsibility does not stop at the level of financial subsidy. Thus, we dare say that its participation in Kuwait International Book Fair was not random but it is planned well to be present in vari-ous fields of life; therefore, it was keen on such participation to spread its oil culture in the society.
