    1. CC KHI NIM V0 MNG MY TNH

    1.1 Khi nim v mng (Network concepts).

    Mng my tnh l tp h2p cc my tnh v cc thit b'2c lin kt vi nhauthng qua !ng truyn vt l hoc lgc (mi tr!ng truyn thng communication medium) v tun theo nh*ng qui t"c truyn thng no g3i lmng my tnh.

    - Mng MAN (Metropolitan Area Network): L mt mng 2c ci t trongphm vi mt th' hay trumg tm kinh t x hi (bn knh kho&ng 100km).

    - Mng WAN (Wide Area Network): L mt mng my tnh din rng cphm vi bao trm mt quc gia hay lc 'a.

    - Mng GAL (Global Area Network): Mt mng ton cu, kt ni cc h thngmng trn ton cu.

    2.4 Mt s chun mng

    2.4.1 SLIP v PPP

    SLIP l mt giao thc u tin (RFC 1055) dng chuyn tip cc gi tin(IP Packets) qua !ng truyn quay s (Dial-up lines). n nay th SLIP hongton b' thay th b(i PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol). PPP l mt giao thc phn
