    APPOINTMENT OFPRESIDENTIAL TASK FORCE

    Task:prepare strategic plans, programs and projects. Rehabilitate and develop economic and social infrastructure.

    To co-ordinate activities of security agencies of the Government.

    On resettlement, development and security in Northern Region chaired byHon. Basil Rajapaksa, Senior Adviser to H.E. the President.

    ,and projects. To liaise with all organizations in the public and private sectors and civilsociety organizations. To seek, identify and apply innovative solutions to problems andconstraints confronted in the execution of the mandate of the TF. To regularly review the progress of the implementation of the saidprogrammes and projects and to take immediate corrective actions.

    2. Equipments for Person with Disabilities:

    Equipments have been purchased and can be issued on the requestof the beneficiary.

    3. Self Employment Assistances:

    Funds already allocated. Assistance can be given for thebeneficiary recommended by the Divisional Secretary.

    4. Elders Identity Cards:

    Application forms distributed to the Divisional Secretariats,Thunukkai and Poonakari.
