It has a 50.1km long white sandy and

unspoilt beach overlooking the clear blue

There are Dugongs living in shallow, near

shore waters of north, east and south-eastern

Man Aung Island. It is also a good spot to get

a taste of some Myanmar's more unusual

marine fauna, like sea turtle, etc.

Culture

Currently Man Aung Island plays host to a wealth of

cultures and temples, and there are 63 Buddhist

Pagodas which are perfect sports for enjoying a

little uninterrupted meditation. There are Myo,

Kame, Dinae, Thet, Kayin, Kayah and Shan people

all to be found on the island.
