CHASSIS:Articulated chassis in heavy-duty construction with fixed axles. Centre pivot with pendulum bar and hydraulic stabilisers with hydraulic locking of the oscillating movement as standard. The centre pivot is fitted with large spherical pivot bearings.

Three-point hitchA three-point hitch category 2 with quick-couplers is available for mounting both front and rear. The lifting arms are operated via the joysticks and are equipped with 2 double-acting hydraulic cylinders and float facility. During transport, the fixed lower links at the front can be placed in the trans-port position so that they remain behind the front wheels. The adjustable lower links at the rear can, like the front links, be removed without the use of tools. When operating the rear hitch, the height is displayed on the instrument panel.The advantages are obvious: Greater exploitation of the machine since several types of tool can be fitted. Option of fitting standard tractor appliances.

Endless range of applications900MPV series 2 can be tailored to the task in question by choosing from the extensive range of equipment. In contrast to tradi-tional machines, there is a further advan-tage that the hydraulic tank and operating organs are already found as an integral part of the basic machine. The range of appliances that can be used with 900MPV series 2 includes Telescopic Loader, Ex-cavator, Front-mounted Grader, Flail Verge Mower, Sweeper, Snow Plough, Crane, Salt Spreader, Lime Spreader, Trailer and Agricultural Sprayer. The advantages are obvious: A unique machine that can be used for countless tasks.

Permanent attachment of tools Instead of using the tool frame, the tools can be permanently attached to the machine. This is done either by means of fixed mounting bars or by using the fixed tool bracket onto which different tools can be bolted directly. Permanent attachment is designed for situations in which the tools are rarely switched or where the tool or ap-pliance in question is permanently fitted on the machine, e.g. a telescopic loader. The advantages are obvious: A robust and simple solution when the advantages of the tiltable tool frame are not required.

Versatile range of equipment900MPV series 2 can be fitted with the widest range of tools and appliances in its class due to the huge number of options at the front and rear of the machine. The basis for a large number of the tools and appliances is Hydrema’s unique hydraulic tool frame that can be fitted at both ends of the machine. The frame is constructed as a tiltable bracket with hydraulic quick hitch, onto which tools can be fitted directly. The tool frames are an integrated part of the chassis, and enable a rapid and convenient change of tools since they can be placed on the ground without the use of supports or similar. The tool frames can be used with tools in both horizontal and vertical positions. In the horizontal position the tool frame and tool itself can be locked to the chassis, which is an advantage when using tools that require absolutely secure attachment to the machine. In the vertical position the frame and tool can be moved up/down while driving, for instance when driving with a snowplough that has been fitted directly. Even large appliances such as the telescopic loader and the built-on excava-tor can be easily fitted within 3 minutes – directly from the operator’s seat.The advantages are obvious: Extremely convenient switching of tools and appli-ances, and the tools are secured to the machine as if they were an integral part of the machine.

Comfortable cabWhen designing the cab, great importance was attached right from the outset to optimum visibility with regard to the tools and the general view all the way round the machine, and this has resulted in the large glass area and the large telescopic side-view mirrors. The sprung seat, with air suspension as an option, provides a further boost to comfort. The roof structure is equipped with 8 working lights that com-pletely illuminates the working area. Doors, side windows and the rear window can be fully or partly opened in order to provide maximum ventilation. The rear window can also be slid up onto the roof for completely unobstructed visibility and to enable the best possible communication with people in the vicinity of the machine.

Electric servo and Double Command (ESD)900MPV series 2 is equipped as standard with an advanced electric servo with opera-tion of the hydraulic functions integrated into the operator’s seat. Normal operation of the machine is performed using the steering wheel and a l.h.s. reverser. If the operator wishes, the machine can be driven by the joystick alone when the seat is either facing forwards and backwards. All important functions are thus incorporated into the joysticks such that the machine can run forward and in reverse, be steered and all hydraulic functions operated comfortably and safely without the use of the steering wheel. There are also brake and accelerator pedals both front and rear, thus enabling full control of the machine in both directions.

Computer-controlled instrument panel900MPV series 2 has a computer-control-led instrument display which contains functions such as a maintenance menu, service computer, service menu and job menu. This informs the operator of standard maintenance tasks as well as information concerning any operational irregularities or breakdowns – easily and safely.

Electronic Mode Control900MPV series 2 is equipped as standard with electronic speed regulation on 4 of the rear SCV's. The quantity of oil can be set at 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%, which gives the operator a unique opportunity to adapt the performance of the oil outlets to both the tool and task in question.

Wagon hitchFor driving with a trailer, 2 types of hitches are available: A swinging drawbar or a height-adjustable wagon hitch that can be adjusted to the height of the trailer concerned. In conjunction with the wagon hitch, the machine can be equipped with a hydraulic trailer brake as an option.

Basic machine900MPV series 2 is a completely new type of tool carrier. The machine’s design, which features pivot steering and a centrally-lo-cated cab and engine, results in hitherto unseen possibilities in terms of working with tools and appliances mounted both on the front and rear of the machine. The powerful 123 hp engine, advanced hydrostatic trans-mission, and a hydraulic system with plenty of outlets both front and rear all contribute to an endless range of applications.

Unique transmission900MPV series 2 is equipped with a com-puter-controlled hydrostatic transmission with continuously variable speed regulation in all 4 driving modes. Two large hydraulic motors with direct drive are fitted onto the two rigid axles. The front axle is equipped with limited slip differential and the rear axle is equipped with a 100% electro-hydraulic disc differential lock. This extremely robustly constructed driving line ensures the best possible traction in difficult terrain and also enables driving data to be adapted to almost any type of tool. There are 4 driving modes as standard, and within each of these modes the speed can be continuously regulated to suit the task in question. In addition, the machine can be equipped with an inch pedal that enables the operator to reduce the driving speed, for instance when stacking pallets or mowing grass around obstacles. The 4 driving modes are as follows: Driving mode 0-40 km/h Working mode 0-10 km/h Constant speed 0-20 km/h Double command 0-10 km/h

Advanced hydraulic system900MPV series 2 is equipped with a Load Sensing hydraulic system with variable pump with a max. pressure of 215 bar and a flow of 148 l/min. at 2000 revs/min. The numerous SCV's at each end of the tool carrier are controlled by joysticks in the armrests, and enable direct connection of a large number of tools and appliances. Even large appliances such as telescopic loaders and a built-on excavator can be coupled directly to the machine. At the front there are 4 SCV's, one of which as an option can be equipped with float facility and damping function, and another has the option of constant flow. At the rear there are 5 SCV's, one of which has an option of constant flow. 4 of the rear-facing functions are equipped with Hydrema’s Electronic Mode Control. The hydraulic valves are flow compen-sated, which means that several functions can be operated simultaneously.

Power take-offThe basic machine can be equipped with a PTO at both ends. The rear PTO runs at 540 rpm (6 spline shaft). The front PTO operates at 1000 rpm (21 spline shaft). En-gagement and disengagement of the PTO is effected by means of a push button. PTO revs are independent of the driving speed providing up to 48 hp. The advantages are obvious: PTO- driven appliances can be used on 900MPV series 2.
