5 tips to get the Token approved

fast!

1. MCC Top Level

● Apply for the token from the top level MCC○ Go to -> Account Settings -> AdWords API

Center● The more active accounts you have under

it, the better!● This is to make sure you are an active

AdWords user● For small MCCs: need provide more

details/justification in the Design Doc!

2. Provide a Valid Email Address

● The email is the main channel of communication with the approval team

● Provide a valid one, that you check frequently○ If you have an alias, use that!

● Watch the Spam box. Sometimes it ends up there…

3. Billing and T&Cs

● Sign the Term & Conditions!● The Billing info requirement is being

removed from the process○ In the mean time, you do not need to fill it out

● You will be asked to choose your country of business after the change

4. Fill the "New Token" form

● Shortly after requesting it, you will receive this form via email○ It will be sent to the address you entered in the

request form● Fill it correctly, and as soon as possible● The form is sent to you right away● After submitting it, a reviewer will reach

out to you in less than one business day

5. Meaningful Project Description

● The approval team wants to make sure you are doing it right

● Provide a good short description of your project○ Explain what you are doing○ Mention what will be internal and public (clients)○ Talk about the AdWords features you will use
