Cooperation between German technical cooperation and

private sector in Tunisia

Advantages for technical cooperation

Private sector is engine of economic growth and development and political change agent

Less financial means from official German development assistance

This has important implications for German TC in Tunisia, where main areas of activity are in private sector development and environmental protection



Working with private sector and mobilizing additional resources important in order to reach development goals in a sustainable way

Through GTCIC, GTZ can reach companies which can be implicated in projects of technical cooperation:

Information events in Germany and Tunisia:

- seminars, conferences

- Missions, business meetings

Shared management of a ‚company pool‘ to promote environmental technologies





Why are PPP-projects interesting?
