    A Book From deValenceEditions B42 2015 ISBN 9782917855621 Acqn 25656Pb 16x24cm 128pp 130ills 50col £22.50

The first publication about the work of the French graphic design studio deValence, this bookexamines their most recent works since 2012, as well as their long-term collaborations with artistssuch as Raphaël Zarka, Saâdane Afif, Mathieu Abonnenc, and Pierre Huyghe. Led today by

Alexandre Dimos and Ghislain Triboulet, the studio’s work is notable in its intention to seeminglydisappear in a process where form logically follows from the content. By way of a thoroughanalysis of several of their designs, overlapping elements of both avant-garde functionalaesthetics and an austere classicism emerge in their work. With a text by Victor Guégan and an

    interview with deValence.
