The KUBIK is not intended as social commentary. It is a structure focused on play, art, and good times. The proverbial ‘napkin sketch’ becomes reality in this collaborative design, fabrication, and construction project where the artistic metalworks of the owner and modern designs of the architect merge seamlessly into an evolved Ozark aesthetic.

TINTAL has been erected to one side of a house in Bahía Azul. A small space, it appears to be a prolongation of the terrain when seen from the entrance, but from the slope it stands out as a piece embedded in the hillside.The space, ultimately conceived as the prolongation of its own window frame, mediates between the sea and an interior garden located at the entrance. Reached by a narrow staircase, excavated out of the rock, it leaves the user in complete isolation.

The summer house is located right next to Vejle Fjord on a scenic site with distinctive trees. The view of the fjord, the coastal atmosphere and the nature that encourage an active outdoor life had an important influence on the design. At first glance, the house is traditionally designed with a pitched roof paralleling the long sides of the site and a gable facing the view. However, at a closer look, we are dealing with a kind of double house – a house inside a bigger house.

This family residence is designed on 0.25 acres of land property which is situated in one of the prestigious living areas in Vilnius (LT). The neighborhood is impressively fulfilled by natural context where pine forests are playing over city panoramas, colorful landscape views, and impressive sunsets. Moreover, the land plot is perfectly balanced in terms of world orientation, with river view on the south-west, while the neighborhood with the street is situated in north-east.
