Translating this into our event space,Ruyi Room, we cater to a wide range of
private events managed exclusively by theMr Go's team. Ruyi Room is a unique eventspace with fantastic food and drink and
great hospitality. Drawing from ourrestaurant menu, we offer canapé options forcocktail events, plus shared dining, buffetoptions, or individually plated meals for
seated events. Available for lunch ordinner bookings, seven days a week.
We also provide room only hire forcorporate presentations, pop-up shops,tastings and events without catering.Please note: no external catering is
permitted.
CAPACITY & PRICINGSeated - 62 Guests
Standing - 85 Guests
Venue Hire Fee:
$300 for events of up to four (4) hours
$500 for events more than four hours
Spend $3500 or more and the space is venuehire free.
Canapé Events: Minimum $18 per head on food
Seated Events: Minimum $38 per head on food
ACCESSRuyi Room is located on Level 1 and is notwheelchair accessible - 14 steps up off the
street, no elevator.
The space is to be vacated by 12am, lastdrinks will called at 11.30pm.
STYLING AND DECORWe welcome additional styling in the space
for your event, whether it be floralarrangements, decorations, signage, or
special menu design. Please discuss yourrequirements with our team. Any decorativeelements will require approval prior to
installation.
SECURITYSome events, particularly larger ones, mayrequire security. This is out-sourced andis charged at $45 per person, per hour
(including GST, minimum four hours charge).
ENTERTAINMENT & AVWe have a wireless commercial sound
system, allowing our music or yours viaSpotify or Bluetooth. We have a microphoneand speaker available to hire. For other
AV requirements (projectors, screens etc),we work with external companies and pass
on the cost.

Seated events pull the focus of sharedplates from our restaurant, or we can
serve buffet style or traditionalindividually plated meals.
Drinks offerings can be tailored to suityour event and budget, with various
packages and options available.

1.Contact our events team via email,[email protected] providing as muchdetail as possible about your event(Date, time, type, approx. guest numbersetc)
2.We will come back to you within oneworking day, confirming availability andprovide menu options for you to lookover. We can also organise a viewing.
3.After a discussion of details, weprovide a written proposal for the eventincluding security, AV, externally hiredequipment, staging/decorating. Wetransparent and will break everythingdown for you.
4.You review our proposal and come back orus with any final edits or queries.
5.Confirm the event, the venue hire fee isrequired at this time to secure yourdate, and is non-refundable.
6.Seven days before the event, you confirmthe final guest numbers. The total foodbill is sent and due this day too. Wecan arrange a site viewing to discussthe final details should you wish.
7.The event day is here. You can accessthe room early by arrangement fordecorating etc.
