Trailer-based Solutions
• When lifecycle cost is taken into consideration, it often makes more sense to build a custom trailer to meet your needs rather than customise a vehicle.
• The reason for this is that vehicles typically needs replacement in a 3 – 5 year cycle due to mechanical wear and then the customisation is lost with the vehicle
• With a well-designed trailer the customisation is long lasting and as tow vehicles are replaced there is no need to re-invest into the customisation of the vehicle.

• At Desert Wolf we understand that customers are interested in fully integrated, functional solutions that meet their requirements completely.

Past Projects – Mobile Control Room
• This project is currently taking the industry by storm with huge local and international interest.
• The customer is the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality and was done in collaboration with our strategic partner Afrisec
• As part of the project a converted Mercedes Sprinter with advanced thermal image night vision equipment and 9 mobile surveillance trailers delivered in October 2010.

Radar - Fully coherent
The fundamental feature of a fully coherent radar is that all signals are derived at low level and the output device serves only as an amplifier, with significantly higher accuracy . All the signals are generated by one master timing source.
Fully coherent radars exhibit none of the drawbacks of pseudo-coherent radars.
The proposed radar is a member of a family of FMCW radar sensors;
• It provides excellent resolution and dynamic extended range capabilities;
• Detection of small, fast moving targets at extended range
• It is optimized for coastal surveillance applications;
• It has a fully coherent processor, providing exceptional performance in all weather conditions;
• It can provide similar or better performance than a magnetron based surveillance radar;
• Its flexible architecture allow for software upgrades to install other radar modes that are provided by the rest of the family of radars.
