full time studies: classes: 30 2 Aims of teaching The aim of the course is to broaden language skills in a foreign language, which refer to the grammar and lexical forms, effective communication and openness to the challenges of today's job market. Students can discuss the similarities and differences of the phenomenon, make a phone call, plan, create and present a short advertising material. Student can actively initiate and maintain a discussion and present effective turntaking.

Student: P_W01 identifies the relatively advanced structures of the grammar and vocabulary forms, to the extent that allows the understanding of relatively advanced reading and listening comprehension about the superstitions in the UK, holiday plans, online shopping; P_W02 constructs clearly structured statements appropriate for the specific situations typical for everyday life: preparation and presentation of advertisement of a mineral water, a survey regarding market research, planning an office party, ordering office supplies; P_W03 recognizes and applies forms allowing introduction of his/her own opinions about different products, advertisement and about the advantages of booking a trip via the Internet and a travel agency; P_W04 distinguishes differences in habits and superstitions, etc. in Poland and the UK

The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the basic problems of the water cycle and the main issues related to the management (use) of water resourses in the human environment. During the classesss, students should learn to interpret test results and perform analysis of hydrological characteristics of selected aquatic environments. They should also be aware of its usefulness for the analysis of water management issues.
