HelpfulhintsDifferencesinmoisturelevelsfrom onebreadtoanothercanresultinvaryingtoastingtimesandbrowninglevels.Below aresomegeneralrecommendations:Slightlydrybreadshouldbe toastedona lowersetting.Veryfreshbreadorwholewheatbreadshouldbe toastedon a slightlydarkersetting.Breadswithunevensurfaces,such asEnglishmuffins,may requirea dakersetting.W hentoastingitemswithfruit,suchasraisinbreadorteacakes,removeanyloosefruitbeforetoasting(raisinsmayfallintotheapplianceandcreateafirehazard).W hentoastingbagels,slicethebagelintotwoequalhalvesbeforetoasting.Ifyouaretoasting onesliceofbread,setthebrowning controlto alowersetting.Use cautionwhen warmingortoastingsugarcoatedorfilleditems(such astoasterpastries).Alwayssetthebrowningcontroltothelowestsetting.
