One student shuffles the adjective cards and deals four cards to each player face down. The remaining cards are put in a pile face-down with the top card facing up. The aim of the game is to get four adjective cards that match one of the noun pictures. The players take it in turns to pick up and throw away a card. Each player can take a card from the pack or take the previous card that was put down. All players will only ever have four cards and must throw a card back after picking one up. When a player has four adjective cards that match a noun picture, they place them in front of the picture and describe it. If all the players agree, the adjectives match and the order is correct, that student wins the round. A new round is then played, and the winning noun picture is taken out of the game. Play a few rounds and see who the winner is. Written by Paul Adams for Teach-This.com ©2012
