Sydney Water Desalination Plant’s Virtual Tour
Sahara Forest Project
Objectives:
Develop and deploy an integrated, large scale system for reforestation
Provide enough energy for Africa and Europe
The plant will work on arid condition
It will use a combination between Seawater Greenhouses and Concentrated Solar Power
Description:
How does it works?
The huge amount of power provided by the solar power plants will allow the pumping of cold water from the abyss. After, warm air will be running through a structure whose walls are infused with cold sea water, so that, this air will immediately be humidified, cooled and then condensed into fresh water by sunlight.
