Getting Ready for Winter As the first half of October was very warm with record heat, the second half has been below nor-mal. It is too bad that the weath-er didn’t hold out for our Oktober-fest.
Our restoration crew has been very busy with the inside of the caboose.
As a special note, Dale Porter has been on limited work load as he spent a week on the hospital with a blood infections. Also Jake Liles is on leave as he had his knees replaced. We wish them both the best in recovery.
November 10 is the NETS train show and yes we have a booth there also.
November 17 we will have our Ghost Hunt. Back by popular de-mand.
November 24 is our Hand Made Market. The vendors spots have been sold out.
And ending the year is our
Christmas - Holiday Party on De-
cember 1, 2018

Our Oktoberfest was held on a cold and wet October 13, 2018. Mother Nature was
not very kind to us this day.
The Authentic German Brats & Krauts, German Potato Salad and Beer was outstand-
ing. The Miracle Band played in the afternoon and was well received. In the evening
Ron Likovic and Friend Polka Band played and many guest were dancing and enjoy-
ing the Polka music.
