Segment of Joint AGMU Cadre for the year 2017 as received from the Ministry of Home

Affairs is communicated herewith.

2. Objections, if any, from the PCS officers to the Common Seniority List (CSL) may be

communicated to this Department on or before 15.11.2018 so as to forward the same to

MHA before the stipulated tim e lim it.

3. I f no response is received before the said date, it will be presumed that there is no

objection to the said Common Seniority list prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Subject: Common Seniority L ist (CSL) o f eligible DANICS and Puducherry Civil Service (PCS) officers whose names are under zone o f consideration fo r their promotion to IAS of UT segment o f Jo int AGMUT Cadre.

The undersigned is directed to inform that DoPT vide their O.M. No. 14015/27/2018 - AIS (I) dated 01.05.2018 has intimated 14 posts for the select list year 2017.

2. In terms of extant provisions under the IAS (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, the Committee shall consider the cases of members of State Civil Services to be considered for promotion in order of seniority, three times the number of vacancies. Therefore, the cases of 42 officers are require'dio be placed before the Committee for consideration, subject to the exception on ground of age limit, willingness, vigilance status etc.

3. In order to prepare an eligibility list of 42 officers of DANICS and PCS, who were in JAG - I or equivalent grade as on 01.01.2017, have bean considered in which the officers belonging to both the services have been interpolated, on the basis of extant, guidelines.

4. A copy each of the eligibility list (Annexure I) and the list of officers whohave been excluded from the draft eligibility list for the select list year 2017 for thereasons mentioned against their names (Annexure-ll), are enclosed It is requested that this letter and also both the Annexures may be uploaded on the website of all the segments wherever the officers concerned are working. These documents are also being uploaded on the website of the MHA, i.e. https://mha.gov.in/division of mha/union-territories-division

5. It is requested that if any officer has any objection on Annexure-I & Annexure- II, the same may please be submitted to the undersigned on or before closing of office hours on 22.11.2018 The objections received in the segment concerned may also please be forwarded along with comments to the undersigned within same timeframe The objections received after closing of officer hours on 22.11.2018, shall not be entertained.
