The multiples of one thousand are formed simply by the counting numbers two, three, seven, etc. plus mil. Mil is invariable when used for counting.
(Remember, one thousand is just mil.)
Notice that a decimal point is used with large numbers instead of a comma as in English.

As opposed to one thousand, one million is expressed with the indefinite article un.
Multiples of one million are expressed with the counting number and the plural form millones. Notice that the plural form loses the written accent.
