SADC Roadshows (African Legacy)

• Programme for SADC Mobilisation (SA current chair of SADC)

– Partner with the National Football Association of each country– Use a ‘local’ derby televised nationally as a platform to reach entire

country– Lobby relevant stakeholders such as LOC, DTI, Sports and

Recreation, Safety and Security, Environmental Affairs and Tourism etc to present readiness and opportunities/benefits for SADC

– Missions to also host cocktails for ‘local’ Diplomatic Corps for purposes of disseminating information

Strategic Thrust

• Promote high Protocol Service Standards and uniformity throughout South Africa

• Execute consistent Quality Control and implement corrective measures where necessary

• Ensure integration of unique cultural aspects specific to the different Provinces

• Will render Protocol services in all FIFA/LOC events leading to 2010• On track with preparations• Have Executive support
