Grants open Not-for-profit organisations, community groups and local councils can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 from the @Department of Education and Training, Victoria to contribute to the cost of hosting a free, family-friendly, online or in-person activity or event during Children’s Week 2021.
Children's Week is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children. This year’s theme is ‘Children have the right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others’ and is based on Article 15 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
Children’s Week will be held from Saturday 23 to Sunday 31 October 2021.

Children’s Week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood, showcasing their achievements while providing educational experiences for them and their families.
