SYNOPSIS This is a six (6) credit hours course studio designed as the final comprehensive project for Bachelor in Landscape Architecture degree. The Final Comprehensive Project is the final test of a student's ability to integrate a wide range of knowledge, understanding and skills in a quasi - professional manner. It is essentially aimed at testing the comprehensiveness, sensitivity as well as creativity approach towards an environmental design solution. This program provides an opportunity for students to continue and complete the topical studies until the detailed landscape design solutions i.e. a comprehensive project which emphasize more on detail design and technical competency among the students. The exposure will be directed towards the design philosophy, design innovation and technology, design competition review, technical visits and workshops. The student works will be criticized and assessed according to the stages of work by both internal and external panels/ examiners.
OBJECTIVES 1. To test the student's individual ability to design in creating space and place making through integrating it with a wide range of knowledge,
understanding and skills in a quasi - professional manner to give wide exposure in discussing the related issues regarding to maintenance and management of landscape works
2. To test detail design thought and understanding technical information and knowledge in practical professional works
