Requirements

DemoSat Training

- Reach ~32 km (100,000 feet)

- Size varies typically no bigger than 20 cm cube

- DemoSat mass ranges from 1 kg to 5 kg

- Total flight not to exceed 25 kg

- Faced with extreme engineering and environmental challenges

- Mach I, -80 C, Condensation, Impact, vacuum

- Launch is usually calm- 1,000 to 1,500 feet per minute ascent rates
