MATERIALS

Medium sauce pan 4qt sauce pan Utensils for stirring Can opener Measuring cups

– Liquid & Dry

INGREDIENTS

(1) 49oz Can of Chicken Broth (1) 9.75oz Canned Chicken (white or dark) (1) 12oz Bag of Egg Noodles (1) Box of Instant Mash Potatoes 24oz of water Butter Salt Pepper

Preparing the Mashed Potatoes

Grab your medium sauce pan and place it on the stove.

Add ingredients to pan according to how many servings you will have.

Turn burner on low Let it sit on low heat for now while we turn to

the chicken and noodles

Preparing the Chicken & Noodles

Place 4qt sauce pan on stove Take can opener and open the canned chicken and

chicken broth and pour into pan Fill the broth half way up with water and pour into

pan Add salt and pepper to your liking Heat to boiling Once boiling pour in the whole bag of egg noodles

cook on about 8 for 10 minutes

Back to the Potatoes

While the noodles are cooking…. ….turn up the potatoes until boiling Remove from heat and pour in your potatoes

until it thickens. After stirring the potatoes until they are

creamy Add more butter for flavor Let potatoes sit to cool down

Back to the Chicken & Noodles

Now that your potatoes are done, your noodles should be done also.

Now you are ready to serve To add more servings just add more noodles

and broth. This would be a easy carry-in dish for work or

for a family reunion

Summary/Add a Dish

Keep in mind, you can also add a canned vegetable, or some Pillsbury biscuits

This dish is one of my favorites handed down from my mother. She being a single mom and having to work a lot. She had to come up with some quick and easy dishes to satisfy my brother and me.
