The magick circle is an ancient and powerful tool. It has many uses, especially when it comes to working with the Demons and the Dark Lords. In past times the circle was used to protect the magician from the entity that was being called forth. In Demonosophy we take a very different approach. We walk with the demons as gods and revere them as divine beings. We work with them from a place of honour and respect.

To us the circle is a sacred construct that is meant to call in the energies of the dark lords to help empower the space with their energies. By calling in the powerful elements and the demons connected to those elements we can raise the vibrations of the space and assist with communication and connection.

The circle is designed to clear the space of any negative entities or energies and create a sacred meeting place where you can meet and converse with the demon you call without being interrupted. The circle also protects the space from any entities that might be curious or drawn to the ritual space. When you raise the energies vibrations and call such a powerful being to you it can invoke the curiosities of hostile beings that are around you.

Having the circle protects you from these beings and allows you to connect and work with the demon you have called, uninterrupted. The circle can also be a way to honour the demon and claim the space that you will be working in to give offerings or seek council with the demon. They are very powerful magickal tools.

The Sacred Magick Circle of Demonosophy

This is a basic circle ritual that can be used before any ritual to raise the vibrations and claim sacred space. This is a powerful circle that calls in the Dark Lords and asks them to empower the space. This Circle is our Demonosophy Demonic Circle.

Notes*** If you feel called through to use different Dark Lords in your circle you can exchange the ones that we use for the ones that you are called to work with. In Demonosophy it is the technique that we strive to master, we strive to master technique and our own mental skills so that our spells become adaptable to our energies and therefore become empowered by the individual.

The Circle is a mackical tool that raises the vibrations of the space and makes it easier to connect with the demon. It also can fill the space with demonic energies and make the space more comfortable for the demon that you are inviting over and seeking council with.

~5 Black Candles ~Sigil of the Dark Lord Azazel ~Sigil of the Dark Lord Lucifer ~Sigil of the Dark Lord Beelzebub ~Sigil of the Dark Lord Leviathan ~Sigil of the Dark Lord Satan

1) Begin the ritual preparation. Take one of the candles and carve Azazel’s sigil on it. Their are many different sigils of Azazel, select the one that best resonates with you.

This sigil is the one that he shared with our coven that can be used for connecting with and working with his energies.

2) Carve the sigil of Azazel on his candle and then anoint the candle in his name. Say.

“Great Lord Azazel Lord of the Desert Fire I charge this candle with your energies I charge this candle with you essence”

3) Take one of the candles and carve Lucifer ’s sigil on it. There are many different sigils of Lucifer, select the one that best resonates with you.

4) Carve the sigil of Lucifer on his candle and then anoint the candle in his name. Say.

“Mighty Lord Lucifer Lord of the Inner Light I charge this candle with your energies I charge this candle with you essence”

5) Take one of the candles and carve Beelzebub’s sigil on it. There are many different sigils of Beelzebub, select the one that best resonates with you. This sigil is the one that he shared with our coven that can be used for connecting with and working with his energies.

“Powerful Lord Beelzebub Lord of Strength and Might I charge this candle with your energies I charge this candle with you essence”

7) Take one of the candles and carve Leviathan’s sigil on it. There are many different sigils of Leviathan, select the one that best resonates with you.

8) Carve the sigil of Leviathan on his candle and then anoint the candle in his name. Say.

“Glorious Lord Leviathan Lord of Tranquility and the Black Sea I charge this candle with your energies I charge this candle with you essence”

9) Take one of the candles and carve Satan’s sigil on it. There are many different sigils of Satan, select the one that best resonates with you.

10) Carve the sigil of Satan on his candle and then anoint the candle in his name. Say.

“Powerful Lord Satan Father of all Demons and the Demonic Divine I charge this candle with your energies I charge this candle with you essence”

11a) There are two ways to position the candles for this circle. The first is, if you have room, place them in a circle around you. They will act as the physical parameter, in combination with the energetic parameter that you are calling forth. If you have the space you can lay out the candles like so.

Place Lord Azazel’s candle to the South. Place Lord Lucifer’s Candle to the East.

Place Lord Beelzebub’s Candle to the North Place Lord Leviathan’s Candle to the West

Place Lord Satan’s Candle in Center

Make sure that you have enough room to place the candles safely around you. You will be placing 4 of the candles around you, and the Candle to Lord Satan in front of where you will be standing. It should look something like this.






11b) If you do not have the space you can set up an altar table for the casting. On a table place the candles in a circle, each demon’s candle corresponding to their direction. Place Satan’s in the centre. You can also add any offering or inspirations that you would like to the casting of this circle. The final altar should look something like this.

Take a deep breath in and if you feel called, raise your hands and draw Lucifer’s sigil in the air. In your mind see the night sky filled with starlight. The vast darkness of space and all the secrets it hides, silent, deadly, full of secrets lit by the stars, and say…

13) Turn and face south, light Azazel’s candle. Take a deep breath in and if you feel called, raise your hands and draw Azazel’s sigil in the air. In your mind envision the dark fires, the power of metal, the warlike passion of the flame. See the crimson red burning inside your soul, and say…

14) Turn and face west, light Leviathan’s candle. Take a deep breath in and if you feel called, raise your hands and draw Leviathan’s sigil in the air. In your mind see the swirling waters of the deep ocean, the blackness of the forbidden abyss and all its secrets. The hidden serenity of the deep, and say…

15) Turn and face north, light Beelzebubs’s candle. Take a deep breath in and if you feel called, raise your hands and draw Beelzebub’s sigil in the air. In your mind feel the energies of the dark twisted forest and all the power it hides, the mystical path that hides all the secrets of the body. The dark elements of nature, the evolved instincts and abilities to sense danger, and say…

"I call to the sacred realm of the Ancient Earth The powers of the Mighty Lord Beelzebub I call to you. The Powerful Demon warrior The champion of battle The warrior of flesh guard the northern gateI invoke the dark forest I call you to this space”

16) Return to the centre of your circle, or face your altar. Carefully light Lord Satan’s candle. Take a deep breath in and if you feel called, raise your hands and draw Satan’s sigil in the air. In your mind see the powerful protective energies of Lord Satan. The god of the lost and forgotten, the fallen, the unwanted.

He is the father of those who walk the solemn path, the father of those who carve their own way, who embrace their core selves and walk the road less traveled. Feel Lord Satan’s power and say.

17) You have cast your circle and claimed you sacred space for the ritual work you are about to undertake.

Thanking the Demon Lords.

1) Once you have completed your ritual and working, it is never a bad idea to show gratitude for the demons for their energy and protection in your ritual.

2) Turn to the east and say

“Lord Lucifer My work is complete I thank you for your protection and adding your energies to the sacred space”

3) Blow out his candle

4) Turn to the south and say.

“Lord Azazel My work is complete, I thank you for your protection and adding your energies to the sacred space”


6) Turn to west and say.






“Lord Leviathan My work is complete I thank you for your protection and adding your energies to the sacred space

7) Blow out his candle.

8) Turn to the north and say

“Lord Beelzebub My work is complete I thank you for your protection and adding your energies to the sacred space”

9) Blow out his candle.

10) Face the altar or Satan’s candle

“Lord Satan My work is complete I thank you for your protection and adding your energies to the sacred space.”
