DEMOLITION PLAN GENERAL NOTES1. DEMOLITION SHALL CONFORM TO ALL CITY, STATE, FEDERAL, AND OTHER REGULATORY CODES, LAWS AND STANDARDS. ALL
DISCREPANCIES, VARIATIONS, OR OMISSIONS IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE ARCHITECT.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT THE JOB SITE PRIOR TO THE START OF WORK. VERIFY ALL SITE CONDITIONS,DIMENSIONS,QUANTITIES, BUILDING RULES, AND OTHER LIMITATIONS. NO SUBSEQUENT EXTRAS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR ANYCLAIM DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OR CONDITIONS.
3. COORDINATE DUMPSTER ACCESS AND THE TIMING OF DISRUPTIVE DEMOLITION WORK WITH THE BUILDING OWNER.
4. THE DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL OF ALL NON-SALVAGED MATERIALS FROM THEBUILDING AND SHALL LEAVE THE SPACE BROOM CLEAN AND READY FOR NEW WORK.
5. EXIT PATHS, SMOKE DETECTORS, AND SPRINKLER PROTECTION SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES AS REQUIRED BY CODE.
6. PROTECT ALL EXISTING WALLS, CEILINGS, FLOORS, DOORS, WINDOWS, LIGHTS, COLUMNS, PLUMBING, HVAC, ETC. TOREMAIN.
7. CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY WITH OWNER BEFORE DISPOSING OF ANY MILLWORK, DOORS, LIGHT FIXTURES WHICH ARE TO BEREMOVED.
8. DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR JOB SITE SAFETY FOR ITEMS TO BE REMOVED AND ADJACENT COMPONENTSTO REMAIN THAT ARE POTENTIALLY AFFECTED BY THE DEMOLITION. CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY INTEGRITY OF STRUCTUREPRIOR, DURING, AND AFTER DEMOLITION.
