Results from the MCP test case in Craiova

In terms of Mobility Area for the implementation of the MCP, the “wide area” is assumed equal to the Craiova city, while the “narrow area” corresponds to the selection of 3 zones around the city centre. The following figures and tables show some statistics for the selected areas.

Calibration of the MCP tool in Craiova

For the MCP tool in Craiova to run properly we had to calibrate (suppressed, shifted trips or private trips with credit purchase don’t exits) the MCP following the steps bellow:•The credits are not sold, but only available for consumption in order to satisfy the mobility of each individual for free•setting the rules of consumption and the credit price equal to one for estimating the total amount of credits which would be required for satisficing the current mobility•all the other traffic demand segmentation is taken into account•all the other leverages are set to 1•We assumed that 1 trip equals 1 credit.

This is the reference scenario for the MCP tool and beginning from this one the Nominal Credit Value and the Individual Free Mobility Budget are calculated for the table above. Bellow you can see the policy scenario for the reference / calibration case in Craiova
