DELTAThe Troldtekt DELTA is a modular system for providing adjustable acoustics.

Each module is constructed from two pieces of 50mm Troldtekt acoustic panel attached in a delta formation. Both of the exterior faces are then clad in 10mm spruce, one of which has a pattern of circles cut out. At either end of the module a triangular steel plate attaches to the Troldtekt acoustic panels and it is from this that each module is hung. On one side of each module a servo motor is attached which enables the module to be rotated to the desired angle.

Absorption: The open face provides absorption from the Troldtekt acoustic panels.

Diffusion: The spruce face with holes provides Diffusion by revealing some of the Troldtekt acoustic panel through the holes.

The modules are either hung horizontally or mounted vertically to form an array. Each module can then be rotated independently to the desired face to provide the required

An array of Troldtekt DELTA modules can be used in a concert hall, or multi-performance space which requires a range of reverberation times and different acoustic properties to suit the performance type. Another application might be an acoustic sculpture installation where the viewer moves through an array as the shape and acoustics change around them. In this instance the solid spruce

mounted reverberation plate to accentuate the differences between the three conditions.
