Delta Alpha Chapter’s 3rd Annual AmaXing Challenge
This year, in an effort to raise more funds than ever before, we have created a website through ‘Fundraise Your Way.’ We would love your help in sharing the website with family and friends to fundraise for this years AmaXing Challenge. All the money will go directly to Autism Speaks, and we would greatly appreciate the help. Go to this website and help us on our fundraising journey: http://fundraise.autismspeaks.org/Markslist/campaign/display/profile.do?campaignId=1096
Delta Alpha Alumnae Newsletter January 2013
Meet the President: Greetings from the Delta Alpha Chapter! I hope this letter finds you all having a great winter and holiday season. I'm writing you as the newly entrusted President of our Alpha Xi Delta chapter here in La Crosse. I am thrilled and honored to have been trusted with this position and am extremely excited for what the New Year brings. Our chapter has undergone several great changes within the past year and I am thrilled to be able to build upon those and keep the chapter close in sisterhood, growing in leadership, discovering more about scholarship and becoming more knowledgeable about our philanthropy. To give you a bit of information about myself, I'd like to start with how I joined and what Alpha Xi Delta has done for me. I joined my first semester of freshman year here at UW-‐L. My dance coach in high school was a member of the Eau Claire chapter and I saw how much she loved the organization, so I decided to check it out once I got to college. To be honest, I didn't know much of what a sorority was before I joined. I've gained experiences that I wouldn't trade for the world and friends that I would have never found anywhere else. As the new chapter president, I am excited to develop more leaders within our younger members and prepare them for their upcoming years in the chapter. It is my goal that every woman in Alpha Xi Delta not only realizes her potential, but cherishes the organization, her sisters, and what Alpha Xi Delta has to offer for life. Thank you all for all that you do!
Sincerely, Devan Galbraith Alpha Xi Delta-‐Delta Alpha Chapter President
