Introduction

The idea behind this document is to give you a clue as to what the customer is seeing when they have a problem with memory issues on their PC. The printer was set to print out a few hundred copies until it was empty, no centrifuges would work with this test. A few dozen methods for resetting the printer memory were tried to no avail. Further testing continues. After the Dell M4646 and M4640 have been refilled the printer will read the cartridges as still being empty. When you place the 2 refilled cartridges in the printer, it will read black ink low and color ink low. Wait about 10 seconds and the printer will read, Press menu to print an automatic alignment page, go ahead and press menu to print the alignment page. After you print the alignment page the screen on the printer will read, Alignment problem. Remove tape from cartridges or check trouble shooting., then the screen below will pop up on the computer screen. Press close

After you close the screen above this screen below will pop up, press the Continue Printing Button.

After you press the Continue Printing, this screen below will come up. Just press the close button.

Then the printer will start printing and this screen will pop up. You can keep printing but you will have to go through these pop ups every time.
