In 2019, RBI EU 2018 will continue to focus on the digital transformation of retail banks in Europe through the lens of open banking, PSD2, fintech partnerships and innovative technologies.
We’ll take a deep dive into how commercial banks are responding to the multiple drivers of technology, customer behaviour, competition and regulation and the impact on distribution strategies and operating models.
Insight will be delivered by the individuals with hands on experience from the banks in the vanguard of digital transformation through case studies, interviews, panel discussions and workshops.
The sections of our programme will focus on:
• Distribution Strategies: Discover how banks are developing ‘mobile first’ distribution strategies that prioritise customer service and commercial delivery
• Open Banking: Assess the impact open banking is having on operating models and learn from first movers as they share their experience of implementing open banking products
• PSD2 & the API Economy: Analyse the progress the industry has made in respect to PSD2 and assess the continuing needs around the standardisation of API’s
• Digital Transformation: Learn from executed digital transformation programmes and the common challenges that must be managed around people, processes, system and culture
• Innovation & Partnerships: Discuss innovation strategies from the P&L holder’s perspective and the continued opportunities that B2B Fintech partnerships present in the API economy
Plus we’ll host a pre-conference day workshop on the opportunities and challenges of commercialising artificial intelligence applications.
Banks from Europe and further afield use RBI EU as an annual opportunity to sit back and take stock of their digital transformation strategies and crucially, to continue to build out their ecosystem of partners who can help them achieve this. This makes RBI EU an unrivaled business development and branding opportunity for solution providers.
