DELIVERING ‘BIG MOVES’ Our vision for Upper Trinity Street taps into the uniqueness of Digbeth, creating a 24/7 community that harnesses the characteristics of ‘Digbethness’ and creates an attractive cultural-led neighbourhood to live, work and visit. Alongside the creation of 900 new homes and new workspaces specifically designed around the needs of existing businesses in Digbeth and those who want to relocate here. Our vision incorporates several ‘Big Moves’ that will deliver permanent improvements to the built environment at the site and beyond: This will become a dynamic new urban space that invites pedestrians into the site while providing a venue for leisure and impromptu cultural events, eating and drinking. Collaboration with our neighbours regarding their proposals for The Central Bus Garage site has ensured that Adderley Yard will not only provide permeability into Upper Trinity Street but also beyond. Adderley Yard The Makers Yards will be working spaces surrounded by flexible employment space. The Yards will be simple, robust and adaptable. Pump House Passage will provide a pedestrian link connecting Adderley Yard and Pump House Park which itself will connect through to the canal network – providing permeability and connectivity from Liverpool Street to Bowyer Street and beyond.
