Best out of Waste Exhibition

It‟s impossible to explain creativity. Its like asking a bird -“How do you fly? You just do……Eric Dickey.

In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson

on reducing waste to save our future, an activity “Transform the waste material into best product” was

organized in D.P.S. Firozabad on 18th January 2019 for students of class Nursery to II .

Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy. They prepared very creative

and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable

materials like newspapers, shoe boxes, bangles, ice cream sticks, paper cuttings, plastic bottles, spoons and

many more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items and daily useful objects which

made everyone amazed. The values like preservation, recycling, conservation, reduce, reuse are imbibed in

the heart and soul of young learners by demonstrating this noble act of caring our environment. It helped the

students develop their fine motor skill while using different kinds of material and also encouraged them to

use waste materials for making decorative and useable items. It was amazing to see how scrap could be

transformed into such useful and beautiful articles. The creativity and artistic streak of the children were

observed.
