Magic Show
A magic show was performed in our school by Jadugar Samrat. The magician performed a number of magical tricks
which left everyone in extreme astonishment. He displayed the conversion of the bits of newspaper into currency notes
which was quite a surprising trick. He also showed a number of surprising magical tricks with the playing cards. He even
made a currency note disappear in front of everyone’s eyes. The whole auditorium was filled with enthusiasm and
applause.
Celebration of Children’s Day
Children’s Day was celebrated in our school with utmost enthusiasm and grandeur. The teachers displayed their hidden
talent by given dance, singing and skit performance. The students completely entertained themselves to the performance
and filled the hall with applause.
Thereafter they were shown a power point presentation on the life of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to enlighten their minds
with the knowledge. A football math was organised afterwards where all the houses displayed their sports man spirit.
Kids also enjoyed out side lunch and games. They became very happy by getting gifts & cards. Overall it was a day with
full of happiness.
Special Assembly on Safety First
Class II B conducted a special assembly on the theme ‘Safety First’ on 13th November, 2019,in the auditorium of DPS
Fzd, in which they described the significance of safety rules.
The aim was to raise awareness amongst the junior students about safety in our daily routine. Assembly started with an
eloquent thought. After that they made a short introductory speech, to educate their peers in the audience about safety on
the roads kids also performed very expressive enactment to tell about the road safety. It was a very reassuring sight to see
the children speaking confidently the lines as they held the mike.
They also performed a striking dance performance with a message to follow the traffic rules and Keep yourself and others
safe.
At the end Principal Sir addressed the assembly. Emphasis was laid upon the fact that all of us should follow these rules
while using the school bus, or when traveling with our parents or while crossing the road.
Assembly concluded with a pledge regarding safety rules.
Cook & Impress
At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.
Keeping the same thought in mind DPS Firozabad organized two events together . In 1st one student showcased their
talent and in 2nd one parent exhibit their cooking skills.
Class 2 A students performed their special assembly on “Our Neighborhood “. Students described the topic in a very
impressive manner. They also presented a delightful dance performance on the topic . All the parents witnessed the
assembly and appreciated the kids efforts .
In Cook & Inspire Competition participant parents tried many innovative cuisine’s . The different aspect was that they did
it without using fire. The enthusiasm shown by parents was really appreciable .
Judges selected the best dishes on the basis of their norms like nutritive value, presentation, taste etc. . At the end of the
event Principal sir addressed the parents with their motivational words. Selected dishes were awarded.

Annual Day
On 30th November, 2019 DPS Firozabad celebrated its 3
rd Annual Day function (Colosseum Tritiyonimesh) with
great exhilaration and zeal. The entire school participated whole heartedly towards the success of this grand event.
Dr. Sangeeta Anuja, Dean of the Medical college of Firozabad, Ms Ritu Goyal, The DIOS FZD and Dr. Sadhana
Rathore , Head of the department of Medical surgery FZD were the chief guests for the evening. The event started
off with the approvation of Ganesha in the form of dance presentation. This was then followed by the felicitation
dance, Rejoica Dance and the young wranglers dance by the primary section. A nritya natika based on the theme of
“Importance of Independence of India” was performed by the students. Sinfonietta (Orchestra) and the
Swarsangam (Choir) added a melodies touch to the grand event. A Theatrical presentation was given by the
students which filled the entire ambience with shouts of laughter and joy. The Benediction dance gave a carousing
feeling to the entire event.
The principal, Dr. Gaurav Dubey presented the school’s Annual Report and prize were conferred upon the students
by the board of directors and the Chief guests. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the head girl. The
chief guest gave an inspiring speech to the students. The event came to an end by the National Anthem.
