� During the last year, the Hellenic Cybercrime Subdivision has
handled over 3000 cases involving crimes committed with the use of
electronic means.
� Up to 24% of these crimes include child pornography, personal data
breach or threats against minors.
� Extensive web research led in the identification of 170 persons that
were accused of participating in several crimes against minors.

� The Cybercrime Subdivision of Hellenic Police is continuously
informing internet users about the consequences of the
misuse of new technologies.
� Various conferences focus on informing Greek citizens about
the dangers arising when surfing the web.
� These conferences are often web streamed so that thousands
of people within the country or abroad can watch them.
� Schools can simultaneously participate in various
teleconferences, having the opportunity to learn about safe
web surfing from qualified officers.
