OUR IMPLEMENTED SOLUTION:ASPERA - LICENSECONTROL FOR SALESFORCE
What is it?LicenseControl for Salesforce provides us usage, license and storage transparency across all Salesforce Orgs
We now have current information to minimize our license buffers (from 10% down to 0,5%), automatically detect and off-board dormant user-accounts
Why did we do it? Save tons of money by freeing up unused licenses, right sizing of license buffers, moving licenses between Orgs
How to implement this? All you need is a technical account per Org, to pull out the data via an existing API and to write back to trigger the use-or-lose policy/off-boarding of dormant accounts

ON-GOING IMPLEMENTATION:ASPERA - LICENSECONTROL FOR O365
What is it?License Control for O365 provides a centralized view of our O365 user accounts, subscriptions and app usage
We use it to decide on off-boarding of unused/dormant user accounts and to downgrade the plan allocated to an end user
Why are we doing it? Save money by off-boarding dormant accounts and allocating the cheapest plan to an end-user
Gain complete visibility for upcoming renewals and negotiations
How to implement this? Solution is designed to connect to Microsoft Office 365 tenants using the Microsoft Graph API. Creates a new WebApp in the Microsoft Azure Active Directory
