Where Are The New Rappers & Hispanic Rappers?

Besides having Drake, one of the biggest flaws with the Def Jam Rapstar track list is the lack of newrappers like B.O.B. aka Bobby Ray, Travie McCoy, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Kid Cudi, Wale, and, yes, Illdare say it Soulja Boy, whos Crank Dat was a #1 Hot 100 single for seven weeks in a row. Youngpeople, who initially will be targeted to buy Def Jam Rapstar, will want on DJR rappers that have soldthe vast majority of iTuness Hip-Hop digital singles. It is inexcusable that B.o.B. and Hayley William s

Airplane and Travie McCoy and Bruno Markss Billionaire were not initially featured on Def JamRapstar. Any credible music insiders could have projected that those two songs alone would be megasummer hits in 2010 or at least you add Nothin on You and have two B.o.B and Bruno Marks songson the game. And I am no Soulja Boy fan, but I know that there will be millions of gamers wanting todo the Superman dance while rapping Crank Dat. At its height of popularity the Crank Dat musicvideo is the most watched online video with over 722 million views and it spawned thousands of viralvideo imitators. Knowing those facts about Soulja Boy there is no credible reason to wait until the lastminute to say he is on DJR or not. Young people need to be able to rap-along with artists their age.And for the life of me why would you tell Hispanics, who are the fastest growing minority population inAmerica, that they should be happy with Big Puns Still Not a Player and Fat Joe doing a few versesin DJ Khaleds We Takin Over. It is a huge mistake that 4mm Games did not use some of Fat Joes

many popular Hip-Hop hits or Grammy nominated collabo hits. Or have some bilingual rappers likeMellow Man Ace or Pitbull would give millions of Hispanic gamers extra motivation to go buy Def JamRapstar. And Daddy Yankee has mainly Spanish only reggaeton hits, but it would be fun to rap themin Spanish without English translations. Def Jam Rapstar could even help many people or kids learnSpanish. Anyway, I will do my best to give my wish list of additional rappers that should have a songright now featured on Def Jam Rapstar or be clearly promoted as available downloadable content.
