PAINT THE TOWNWhen it comes to craft enamel paint on glass decor, don’t be shy! It’s easy to wipe off when wet, so mistakes are a thing of the past. For this jar, we stenciled onto the

outside and added a coat of white to the inside to make it all pop.

LOVE HUEYou could go searching for vintage glass, or you could make your own with stained-glass spray. Once it’s dry (you may need a couple coats),

use stencils and gold leafing for heirloom-worthy details.

TRES CHICIf you’re going fancy, go all the way. Here are a few ideas:

Use knobs from Home Decor for toppers (center, left), combine beads and spacers to create feet (center), and cluster flower

caps (right) from Jewelry Making onto cork stoppers.

C’EST LA VIEParis is always a good idea, especially with DIY decor. The how-to: Stencil on some etching cream, and then wipe alcohol ink over the finished etching. C’est magnifique!

SILVER LININGWe can hardly contain (pun intended) our excitement over these glass jars! Coat them with silver Liquid Leaf®, add crackle medium when dry, brush on craft enamel paint, and watch the crackling effect emerge as the paint dries.

SEA TO BELIEVEOcean breezes, sun-kissed cheeks, sandy toes—it’s amazing what you can capture in a bottle. For this beauty, we used etching cream for texture, craft enamel paint mixed with glaze medium for color, and embellished with gold leafing, glitter and seashells!

BOTTLE BOTANICALBringing life to glass decor is just a matter of the right stencil—and the right paint. We used craft enamel paint (Crafts Dept.), which has a nice gloss and is made to be cured onto glass (hello, durability!). P.S. Our trim is from the Fabric Dept.

HANG IN THEREPlayful charms from the Jewelry Making Department aren’t just for necks, wrists and ears—we combined a few with cork-topped jars for standout decor. Tip: Screw eyes and bracelet chains are perfect for hanging charms.
