Logging into ESS

You can log into ESS via the Corporate Shared Services (CSS) website - http://www.csc.com/css_in. Click ‘Enter Site’ tab and then click ‘Enter Self Service’ link available under the ‘SELF SERVICE’ section.

Select the “Payroll” tab to view the Payroll forms

When you select the ‘Investment Declaration Form’ section on the left hand navigation panel, you can view the overview page detailing instructions to guide you to complete the form.

To open the form, select the ‘Investment Declaration Form’ link.

• Select the ‘HRA’ tab to enter details of rent incurred on housing.

Complete all the fields appropriately.

You can provide additional information in the ‘Remarks’ field.

Acknowledge the ‘Terms & Conditions’.

Select the ‘Send’ button to submit your request.

Select the ‘Cancel’ button to go back to the overview page. If you wish to save the request that you have created, select the ‘Save as Draft’ button.

To cancel the request, select the ‘cancel’ button.

• Select the ‘Income From Other Sources’ tab in the overview page to provide details of your house property.

Select ‘House Property’ from the ‘Type of Income’ drop down menu.

Select the appropriate ‘Property Type’ from the ‘Property Type’ drop down menu.

Complete all relevant details. You can provide additional information in the ‘Remarks’ field.

If you have more than one property, enter the consolidated amount of interest paid in the ‘Interest Paid’ tab.

Select the ‘Send’ button to submit your request.

Select the ‘Previous Employment Tax Details’ tab to provide details of your income from your previous employment.

When you submit your completed request, a unique request number will be populated on the overview page to enable you to track this particular request.

Requests that you have submitted will be available for your reference in the ‘Search Results’ section.

To search for a specific request, enter the appropriate search criteria in the ‘Search’ section and select the ‘Search Request’ button.

Records retrieved as per your search criteria will be displayed in the ‘Search Results’ section.

1. To edit a saved request, select the drop down icon available to the left of the investment category.2. Select the request to be edited by clicking on the tab to the left side of the request number.3. Select the ‘Edit’ button.
