Collision space at the tool changer

Tool change in the work area The tool change takes place at any programmed X position. This is to be selected by the operator depending on the table layout. Alternatively, a fixed X position for the tool change can be defined by parameter. The tool is inserted vertically from below into the spindle by the gripper.

Collision topic The double gripper is positioned by linear movement of the swing stroke unit in the working space under the spindle. By vertical movement, the tool is inserted or removed. The tool is forcibly released from the swing stroke unit ejector right of the spindle nose.

The swivel radius of the double gripper with the tool creates an interference circuit of 290 mm above the work table, depending on the tool diameter and tool length, while the support bracket near the table has a fixed interference radius of 35 mm above the work table.
