December customs in GreeceA small decorative boat

In Greece, due to our navy tradition we decorate not only Christmas trees but also small boats

Students cut the shape of the boat.

Then they glue it on a carton.

Then again they cut the shape of the boat

They put glue on a smaller piece of paper.

They took a stick and with a ruler they marked it at 15cm.

Miss Vicky cut the stick with a knife.

We used a pencil to make a small hole.

And we passed the stick through the hole

Then we wanted to add sails.

Carefully we passed the sails through the stick.

The stick was not very steady so somebody suggested we put some plasticine around it

Finally we decorated the sails and the boat with Christmas ornaments.
