Karen Lee Wiederrich Candee was born on December 22, 1949 to Alvin J. Wiederrich and Lydia E. (Cook) Wiederrich. She a ended Sidney Schools and graduated in 1968. She then went from part
me to full me employment at Sidney Na onal Bank, now known as Wells Fargo Bank. Her future in banking came to an end when she met and married the love of her life, Garey F. Candee on April 11, 1970. They moved to the family farm where they raised registered black Angus ca le along with their two sons, Casey S. born on June 22, 1972 and Corey J, born on June 15, 1974.
Karen fought two ba les with breast cancer, the rst one in 1996 when she underwent a
mastectomy, and the second one in 2011 when she underwent chemotherapy and radia on. Finally, the last one that went to her bones and took her home to her savior, Jesus Christ.
Karen is survived by: her husband of 46 years, Garey; two sons Casey (Tanya) and Corey (Joni) Candee; grandchildren Kyra, Taryn, Kallie, Carlie, Cassidy, Caleb and Camile. She is also survived by her parents Al and Lydia Wiederrich and one brother, Alvin (Crystal) Wiederrich.
She is preceded in death by: father and mother in-law, Elsworth and Johnnie Candee; and one sister in law, Lynda Jane Candee Kimble.
Karen died on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her home.
