BARBARA JOHNSON Songbird of the Turks & Caicos IslandsThis local Songbird has more than 20 years in the music and performing arts industry. Singer, songwriter and former Miss Turks & Caicos, she takes pride in being ambassador for her Beautiful by Nature TCI. Her talent took her across the globe promoting the Turks & Caicos with the Turks & Caicos Cultural Group back in 1985. In 2007 she released her first album entitled “Time for me”.

TESS CHARLES VocalistBorn on the Capital Isle of Grand Turk TCI, Chrystal Charles is a product of Turks & Caicos, Jamaican and Vincentian Heritage. With 8 years’ experience and a degree in Tourism and Hospitality MGT, Charles started as an hotelier but had a calling she could no longer ignore. From jazz to soul and rake & scrape (the island’s National music). TESS is a vocalist and entertainer that knows both how to croon for a crowd and start a party!

ELROY SIMMONSKeyboard & VocalsElroy Simmons was born and raised on Salt Cay in the South Eastern part of the Turks & Caicos Islands. He is a very talented vocalist and gifted keyboard player, playing a variety of music styles, the main ones being R&B, reggae, rake & scrape and jazz. Elroy loves to see people enjoy his music and to have fun!

DAISY ( INTEGRAL HATHA YOGA)

Daisy is a certified and experienced yoga instructor. She was born in Portugal and her whole life she has had an undeniable connection with yoga. Daisy began her training at the age of 17 and has developed her skills into the world of wellness.

Daisy has a strong passion for teaching yoga and also is a personal trainer. Daisy’s yoga practice focuses on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development. Each class incorporates postures, deep relaxation, breathing exercises and meditation that result in a profound experience of peace and well-being. Participants of any age and conditions are encouraged to explore each posture at their own pace. By harmonizing effort and easing themselves into each class, the practitioner will discover the optimal flow of energy to achieve greater flexibility, strength, poise and mental focus. Daisy’s classes promote a positive healthy lifestyle. The integral yoga system is designed to draw the practitioner into a physical and mental stillness that leads to an experience of one´s true nature, which is ever peaceful and happy.

The goal of hatha yoga is to have an easeful body, a peaceful mind and a valuable quality of life.

REBECCA (HATHA VINYASA YOGA)

Rebecca Strohl is an experienced, certified vinyasa yoga instructor with a deep and ongoing commitment to yoga students of all levels and abilities. A professional dancer and a graduate of both Miami’s New World School of the Arts and New York City’s Om Yoga Center. Rebecca’s teaching emphasizes attention on body alignment while coordinating movement with breath and is a fusion of kinesthetic principles from yoga and dance alike. Her classes share the wisdom that yoga’s classic movements can promote ease and well-being. The heart of yoga lies in the quest toward being in the now, a journey that is continually changing and endless.
