C&U Update

Around the resort maintenance works have been done being the most relevant:

Many street lamps had major repairs and have been painted. Most of them were in really bad state of corrosion

due to age, but also due to the proximity to the sea and the weather conditions. Many of the street lamp

windscreens are also being progressively replaced, as some of them were worn out and started to acquire a

yellow discolouration caused by the sun.

Having in mind the improvement of safety around the football area, a barrier has

been place in the main entrance of the pitches, this way avoiding children to

have direct access to the road when exiting.

Cobblestone maintenance works have been performed throughout many of the

communal areas which required intervention due to natural minor soil

subsidence.

The work performed in the garden near block H by the Spa car park, which consisted in reinforcing the garden

and its supporting walls which were subsiding; new flowers were replanted, giving a new look to that area. This

as a joi t proje t et ee the O ers’ Asso iatio a d GSA. In the Triangle/Bloc B, in order to have an effective water drainage, some works were performed and a new

decoration with white stones was placed around the edges.

Aerial photo book Algar e from the air

Another proposal for Christmas present is an aerial photo book of the

Algarve.

This book seeks to be a visit card for the entire region.

It has the preface by Sir Cliff Richard.

The book has 20 by 20 cm, 200 pages and text in English and Portuguese

by county.
